Scot Weaver

Scot D. Weaver is a Vice President and Founder of EarthSoft and oversees the development of EarthSoft’s Environmental Quality Information System (EQuIS). While focusing on customer relations and support, his management responsibilities also include the EQuIS training courses and client support.

Mr. Weaver received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University and a M.S.E. in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering. For over a decade, he has been involved in programming for engineering applications and has taught environmental data management courses in North America, South America, England, Europe, and Asia.

Mr. Weaver is a member of several professional associations including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS), the National Groundwater Association (NGWA), the North American Lake Management Society (NALMS), and the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE). He has been involved with the Consortium of Organizations for Strong-Motion Observation Systems (COSMOS) workgroup for Archiving and Web Dissemination of Geotechnical Data and the ASTM E50 subcommittee for the Management of Geographic Information Systems in Environmental Applications. He is currently an active member of the Digital Interchange for Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (DIGGS) Geoenvironmental Special Interest Group.
